My Final Day at Discovery Tech as written by Spencer
"This is my final day at discovery tech I wish I did not have to admit it. I had so much fun making training cards, Glogging, making animations, Voki and podcasts, Making commercials, Taking pictures and making a slide show out of them in the morning. Today we got to do the slideshow and we had fun doing it.
I will miss all we did in the afternoon class writing fiction class which was Creating our very own worlds and then writing about them. Lucy and I brought in storys that we wrote from home. I enjoyed doing the plays on Claynochio and The Elves and Stu Baker. It was also fun when we made our elf hats and did water colors. Today we did poetry and wrote it with feather quills and bamboo sticks on paper that was made in Egypt. Lucy taught us the whole alphabet in sign language. One of the writing activities we did was we took props out of a bag and wrote a story out of it.
I’m Going to miss Discovery Tech and I hope I can see you next trackout."

Teacher Testimonials
"Though Mike Dlott taught at Hudson High School for just three years, he left a lasting impression on our students, our teachers, and our school culture. I was fortunate to work with Mike in a number of capacities; he a teaching colleague, a student in my graduate course, and a partner in an international teacher exchange program. Drawing from our professional relationship, I can attest to Mike’s dedication to scholarship, his creativity and mastery in the classroom, and the value he places on the development of civic competence in our youth. Most important to Mike’s teaching success is his genuine respect for students, as young adults, as learners, and as his charges. Though he has been away from Hudson High School for three years, his students still talk about Mr. Dlott’s boundless energy, entertaining anecdotes, and enthusiasm."

"I had the great privilege of working with Mike Dlott as a part of All-Stars. He co-founded All Stars at Tufts University to give elementary school aged children in the Medford and Somerville area an opportunity to get outside, engage in physical activity, and learn new sports and games. Mike was particularly talented at getting even the most reluctant child enthusiastic and involved. My experience with All Stars showed me how how amazing Mike is with children."
